* * We would have like a puppy from Timber and had several other serious interested parties for offsprings from him. We reserved the right to refuse an inquiry and had done it. Unfortunately, he has never been used in breeding. Timber's littermates have all aged except for his brother Marco, who had, probably to stomach cancer, be euthanized before he was 9 years old.

Timber was born 14.09.2005 at breeder Mona Trøhaugen, Norway, in a litter of 6 puppies, 3 males (2 black, 1 black/tan) and 3 females (1 black, 1 red Tervueren, 1 black/tan). 
We made a DNA- colortest of Timber. He was homozygot dominant black, and carrier of resessiv black + black/tan.  Read more here.

At Mona Trøhaugen as breeder of Timber we found what we wanted from a breeder.  The puppies were grown up inside the house and had contact to different people, other dogs, cats, heard everyday noises, were touched and handled. They became good prepared for their lives. 
We could get to know both mother and father. Both parents were calm and open dogs. All puppies were social without fear and has taken contact without help. All dogs in this litter seems to be born with a good portion self-confidention without being hot. 

Timber's showtitles: Nordic Junior Winner '06 and Norwegian Show Champion. 
Timber has got CAC, BOB, CACIB on international and national shows. 
CAC quality at belgian- shepherd- breed- show for the judge Cath Bond - Kennel Chatmar. Read all judge show critiques under "Shows". 
One sister and one brother has been shown too. They got EXCELLENT, CAC, CAC quality, BOS on different shows. 
Timber had physical qualities that are rarer and rarer to find in the breed, like feks. a straight back, bonesubstance, straight front legs and paws and all year good coat condition. In addition he was as the standard requires: not anxious and not aggressive. He is handsome & has a lot of mental qualities: friendly, social, outgoing character, open, self-confident, balanced, happy, smart, compatible with all other dogs and not interested in trouble with other males, patient with puppies and children, secure to gunshot and no fear rockets and firecrackers on New Year's Eve, calm and at the same time lively temperament, herding instinct, not stressed, not nervous, not barking a lot, and not one of the "shy" Belgian Shepherds. 
I would say Timber was an "easy- going" Belgian Shepherd. 
He could work and some years we participated in a few obedience competitions and Timber climbed up to Obedience level 3.
I "used" timber to herding my chicken.
